Optimum Procedures for Filling Open Shifts in Group Homes and HCBS

Prior to using Fill Open Positions to find a replacement, managers and schedulers often have to do a number of “busy work” steps, depending upon agency policies. Agency Workforce Management provides integrated options to:

  • Mark a shift/schedule as called off
  • Create a new schedule
  • Mark the original shift/schedule with a user-defined comment, set hours to zero and color the shift/schedule differently
  • Create a Timecard with a special Pay Type, a comment, and an absentee code
  • Create a PTO request
