Scheduling Best Practices

Ineffective employee scheduling directly impacts labor costs, productivity, and an agency’s ability to operate within budget. When an agency does not have the right scheduling tools, it cannot avoid unnecessary overtime and find the most suitable employee to fill open positions. As a result, some employees are over-scheduled, while other employees are under-scheduled, and vacant positions are left unfilled.

Agencies can use three different methods for managing schedules. All would work, but each has its upsides and downsides.

Join us for a training on Thursday, February 26th at 2:00 pm EST to learn the difference between centralized, decentralized, and blended scheduling, along with practical steps to follow to optimize scheduling.
